Clay Pete's ~ Fact or Fiction

Peterson made clay pipes from about 1895 to ca 1910 and for a very short period during WWII. I believe these were made in their London factory.

These are very hard to find.

Nat Sherman Pipe Show with Tom Palmer

There will be a Pipe Show at Nat Sherman's 5th Avenue store in New York City on Monday May 5 from 10-5. Tom Palmer will be there to talk about pipes and the business.

I think it was no coincidence that will driving to work early this morning enjoying my pipe- Peterson Wicklow- that I remembered it was Saint Patricks Day.

Now usually I smoke a Pete on this day, and usually a racing green dublin, but today's Pipe was great.

What are the odds that the Pete would come in to play on this day? *

* Actually they are fairly high since the proportion of Petes in my Rotation is fairly high only being edged out by my selfmades which are special to me.
